  34.                                     HISTORY
  35.  
  36.             The PC-SIZE disk  contains two  programs:   'PC-SIZE'  and  
  37.         'PC-SIZE:·Consultant'.  PC-SIZE was written in 1985 for people 
  38.         trained  in  the techniques of sample size  determination  who 
  39.         wanted   a   program   that   automated   the    calculations.  
  40.         PC-SIZE:·Consultant, written in late 1988,  was intended to be 
  41.         a  more  user-friendly  successor  to  the  original  PC-SIZE.  
  42.         Because some users have found it  useful to have both programs 
  43.         available, they are now distributed as a set.
